Returns, Cancellations & Warranty Policy
ASE Power, a brand of A Sunset Event LLC, supplies commercial and industrial power generation equipment, including generators, transfer switches, trailers, fuel tanks, load banks, and related accessories. Because many products are custom-configured, built to order, or sourced specifically for a customer's project, our return and cancellation policies differ from those of traditional consumer retailers.
Customers are encouraged to review specifications carefully and consult with ASE Power before placing an order to ensure the selected equipment meets project requirements.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before production begins or equipment is released for shipment, subject to manufacturer approval.
Many products sold by ASE Power are custom-configured or ordered specifically for a customer's project. Once production has begun, materials have been ordered, or equipment has been released for shipment, cancellation may not be possible.
Generators, transfer switches, switchgear, load banks, trailer-mounted equipment, fuel tanks, and other custom-configured products are generally non-cancelable once production has begun or equipment has been released for shipment.
If a cancellation is approved, any costs incurred by ASE Power, the manufacturer, or suppliers may be deducted from the refund. These costs may include administrative fees, engineering charges, production costs, supplier charges, or restocking fees.
Returns
All returns require prior written authorization from ASE Power and, where applicable, the manufacturer.
Not all products are eligible for return. Return eligibility varies by manufacturer and product type.
The following products are generally not eligible for return:
- Custom-built or configured equipment
- Special-order products
- Generators
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
- Paralleling equipment and switchgear
- Trailer-mounted equipment
- Fuel tanks
- Load banks
- Products ordered specifically for a customer project
- Equipment that has been installed, fueled, operated, commissioned, modified, registered for warranty, or otherwise placed into service
If a return is approved, the equipment must be returned unused and in resalable condition, including all original documentation, accessories, and packaging.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping, freight, packaging, insurance, customs duties, brokerage fees, and other costs associated with the return.
Approved returns may also be subject to manufacturer-imposed restocking fees.
Freight Damage & Shipping Issues
Customers should inspect all shipments upon delivery.
Any visible damage, shortages, or delivery discrepancies should be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery and reported to ASE Power as soon as possible.
Failure to document freight damage at the time of delivery may limit the ability to pursue a claim with the carrier.
Warranty Claims
Many products sold by ASE Power include a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer and product.
Warranty claims are handled under the terms of the applicable manufacturer's warranty and are not grounds for a return, cancellation, or refund.
Customers should retain all product documentation, serial numbers, maintenance records, and proof of purchase for warranty purposes.
